10% of Americans May Be Addicted to the Internet

Kimberly Young, clinical director of the Center for Net Addiction Recovery and author of the book “Caught in the Net,” says that amoung 5 AND 10 PERCENT OF AMERICANS ARE ADDICTED TO THE INTERNET. Up to 30

percent of all Chinese, Korean and Taiwanese may be addicted. Most of these addictions are related to “cybersex, online affairs, online gambling, online gaming, compulsive surfing and even eBay addiction,” according to Young.
