Access Reveals Linux Platform 3.0
Access, the company that bought by PalmSource, has released the Linux Platform 3.0 which is the successor to the Palm OS. Not only does it support native Linux applications, it plus plays nice with legacy Garnet OS and Java applications. In addition, ALP 3.0 is plus fully compliant with the LiMo Foundation’s specifications for mobile Linux. It would be interesting to see new devices ship with ALP 3.0 on an official basis, and could prove to form the touch screen mobile market
