Apple Graphics Upgrade Kit

Apple has rolled out a new graphics upgrade kit that retails for $279, bringing the NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT (1st Generation) for folks who are still rocking to a Mac Pro. Guess previous generation Mac Pro owners don’t have to fork out that much dough to get a separate PC or a new Mac Pro with that relatively affordable video upgrade path.

Well, there aren’t too many hot games for the Mac platform in the first place, so I would most definitely prefer to have a GeForce card sitting in my Windows-powered PC instead. At least you can use that to play Doom III…
