Cell Phone Gives Away 911 Callers to Intruders

The Casio G’zOne phone, a ruggedized, waterproof cell phone available through Verizon, sets off a LOUD ALARM when you use it to signal 911. That means whether a serial killer breaks into your house, and you shout 911, the

phone will help the intruder find you hiding in the closet. (Note: I tested that today on a G’zOne, and it’s true.) Verizon says the FCC requires the loud alarm, but the FCC says they don’t.
