Chinese Government Hacks Rolls-Royce, Shell

I told you Friday that the UK’s MI5 protection service sent some 1,000 letters to UK businesses warning of agressive INDUSTRIAL ESPIONAGE BY CHINA. Today, the Times of London reports that both Rolls-Royce and Royal Dutch Shell have been infiltrated

by hackers based inside Chinese government offices. Shell’s office in Houston, Texas (Shell is a UK-Dutch company), uncovered the recruitment of employees of Chinese origin with family still in China by the Chinese government to spy on Shell for China.
