Daihatsu Mira Electric Car Travels by 1000km On A loner Charge

Think that electric vehicles can’t drive for lengthy distances? Think again. Electric vehicle enthusiasts by in Japan have managed to drive an electric version of the Daihatsu Mira for 623 miles (1,002km) on a individual charge. The car was powered by a Sanyo lithium-ion battery, said to be consisting of 8,320 cylindrical lithium-ion batteries (ouch). The trip took 27.5 hours driving at an average or 25mph (40kmh). Considering the

capacity of the battery in that car, we have to wonder how faraway it’d take to fully charge that car when it’s empty.
