E Ink prototype display offers crisper, brighter color

E Ink decided to take full advantage of the recently concluded SID 2010 conference by showing off a slew of prototype displays that offer crisper and brighter colors, although it still won’t hit the full gamut of colors. that is made possible by applying a filter on top of a regular black and white E Ink panel, where it offers blacker blacks and whiter whites compared to its predecessors. Apart from that, there is additionally a spanking new “fully

flexible” display as well as another black and white display which is more than capable of handling playback of Flash videos - strangely abundant, E Ink did not allow anyone to film it in action.
