Even hearses go green

Spain-based Emucesa has taken steps to go green by doing away with its three hearses (diesel-powered converted E-Class station wagons), replacing them instead with all-electric alternatives. that green project has been dubbed Ion, and will include the design of the powertrain and the vehicle itself, in addition to a sound system that

plays music. Sounds perfect as the grieving family no longer needs to suffer the stench of diesel emissions while walking behind the hearse to the cemetery as they do in Spain.
