Fujifilm rolls out FinePix Z100fd

Fujifilm will be replacing its FinePix Z5fd with the FinePix Z100fd, and that new ultra-compact trendsetter will come in a quartet of color combinations for those who want a fun and sassy compact digital camera which shoots pretty decent images (by casual standards anyway). The FinePix Z100fd measures 19.8mm thin and packs in 8 megapixels of goodness - the minimum standard these days. Since a higher megapixel count isn’t always better for the compact digital camera segment, it is the additional features that manufacture or break a camera in that class. Let’s take a look

at what the FinePix Z100fd has on offer.

  • 2.7″ 230k pixel LCD scratch-free glass display
  • Sensitivity settings of up to ISO 1600
  • Dual Image Stabilization
  • Face Detection Technology (up to 10 faces per scene)
  • Automatic Red Eye Removal
  • Blog Mode for easy uploading
  • Photo Folder Management
  • i-Flash Intelligent Flash
  • Dual Shot Mode
  • An SD/SDHC memory card slot

The FinePix Z100fd will hit the market that January for $249.95.
