Game consoles not green

No, I don’t mean the color, but the environmental impact. According to Greenpeace, the Xbox 360 is environmentally unfriendly since Microsoft has just given word that it will remove toxic chemicals from the manufacturing process by 2011 (!), and has no plans for a recycling scheme for the huge number of broken machines. As for the Nintendo Wii, it ranks even lower than the Xbox 360

on the charts, scoring no points on Greenpeace’s happy scale since Nintendo did not supply an iota of knowledge on product chemical contents to consumers. But shouldn’t they get at least a point for duct-taping a couple of GameCubes together, calling it the Wii instead?
