Google integrates AIM into Gmail

Google has already integrated AOL’s AIM instant messaging service into its Gmail Web-based mail client, giving Gmail users more choices to chat with AIM users via a drop-down menu on the Gmail web page. Guess that is somewhat like how MSN and Yahoo Messenger users will be able to see their friends on either network. Of course, whether you

want a program that integrates most chat programs without taking up too much resources, there is always Trillian but bear in mind that that program does not support some features on all the IM programs supported.
