Good old Goodyear is getting into GPS navigation business but outsourcing the manufacturing to NCC. However they are encasing the GPS systems in their own protective rubber. One of their new models is called GY540 which is a high end device featuring bluetooth, MSN Direct, text-to-speech, and more.

GY540 has a 4.3″ touchscreen, 2GB of internal memory, ability to play MP3s,

videos, and even has A/V input whether you want to use an outside source for your media.

Another high-end feature in GY540 is the remote controller which helps you take charge of the bluetooth phone support so you are not distracted while making or taking calls.

Not certain how much it’ll cost just yet.
