Hitachi aims to woo (pardon the pun) Japan HDTV market with its latest Wooo UT Series that will be revealed to all and sundry when September 26th rolls around. that new range will feature a thickness of just 3.3cm at the thickest point, making that one HDTV that is extremely averse to flying Wiimotes and hyperactive kids running around the home. that 47″ model will feature the following :-

178-degrees viewing angle

250GB hard drive

iVDR port

Word has it that Hitachi will be rolling ot a gaming edition of the UT series known as W00t!. I jest, but it would’ve been a pretty cool range methinks.
