Homemade Plasma Arc Loudspeaker

This prototype homemade plasma arc loudspeaker relies on tungsten tipped electrodes and a whopping 60,000 volts to develop a huge and impressive plasma arc. Of course, that isn’t the safest thing to have in your home, but at least it certain as heck has more “wow” factor compared to a 105″ plasma TV. According to the boffin who came up with that, it “develops no ozone at

all”, but it will be interesting to see whether any certification by an official body is possible. The video is extremely jaw-dropping, so expect to wipe your drool off the floor whether you happen to see that in the real world.
