HTC EVO Shift 4G might get Gingerbread update tomorrow

Leaks of software, upcoming hardware and updates are nothing new these days, what with the advent of ever smaller digital cameras, not to mention loose lips (which starts sending messages and hints via loose fingers subsequently) helping the cause of the rumor mill in the consumer electronics industry. Just a month ago, there was a leaked copy of an Android 2.3 Gingerbread ROM for HTC’s EVO Shift 4G on Sprint, and it does seem as though the leak is being more or less ready to roll out

to the masses thanks to an internal Sprint document which shows off the start of the EVO Shift 4G Android 2.3 Gingerbread availability from June 17th onwards – that is just one day away.
