You can’t keep everyone happy, can you? With the advent of hybrid vehicles, roads have become much quieter (if you reduction the honks during rush hour, of course), leading the California Legislature to conclude that that is poor for the blind, hence passing a bill that requires hybrid vehicles to be noisy suitable for visually impaired humans to take in before they cross the

street. I thought there were pedestrian crossings specially built for that purpose? Makes me wonder what auto manufacturers will do to introduce more noise…
