IBM includes ads in DVDs

IBM has plans to include commercials in your DVDs after asking the US Patent Office for exclusive rights to a “system and method of providing advertisements during DVD playback.” that is just plain nuts - it means whenever you view your discs, they will come with ads unless you fork out additional dough for a digital certificate of sorts in order to bypass ads. These ads won’t only seem

at the beginning of the DVD, but all through just like those pesky ads on TV. that sounds really nuts, but since the future of entertainment is changing just like its subject matter delivery system, folks who download movies won’t have to grapple with ad-laden DVDs by thereupon.
