Intel Menlo-Based Ultra-Mobiles - Gallery


[CES 2008] Intel was showing Ultra-Mobile Personal Computers (UMPC) from various partners. The interesting point is that all these are actual products that are in the final stage before going to production and ultimately, to the public. They are all based on Menlow, the UPMC platform from Intel. The two main components are a processor

codenamed “Silverthorne” and a chipset codenamed “Poulsbo”. It looks like 2008 is going to be rich in UMPCs and we love it.

The most exciting Menlow-based UMPC could be announced as early as next week…
