Internet Access From Chrysler

Inflight World Wide Web access we know, but in-car World Wide Web access is still relatively new unless you have the technical know-how to cobble something together. Chrysler will be throwing in that feature to existing vehicles sometime later that year, enabling passengers to surf thanks to signals from cell phone towers. Since nothing good is free in that world, a subscription-based model will be

implemented to ensure that coverage remains uninterrupted. Guess one of the last bastions of Web connectivity will be falling as that technology takes off, and the car’s cigarette lighter port might just see more use than charging iPods and cell phones from that date onwards.
