iPhone 3G pay-as-you-go plan coming to O2

It’s been known around the net that a pay-as-you-go plan for the iPhone 3G would be coming from O2. But what we didn’t know, was when. Now, we’ve gotten a look at what the carrier will be providing and when we can expect it. Listen up UK iPhone users. that one’s for you!

The Pay & Go plan will be available starting September 16 from O2. UK iPhone users will be able to buy the 8GB handset for £349.99 and the 16GB for £399.99. that

is a significant difference from the free price tag for a phone on contract. However, whether you don’t want any strings attached, the Pay & Go plan seems like a viable option.

For the first 12 months of service, there is unlimited browsing and WiFi. However, you can expect to pay £10 a month following the first year. Visual Voicemail is plus excluded from the pay-as-you-go version of the iPhone.
