iPhone 3G shortage continues - could be up to a month

iPhone 3G is selling out nearly everywhere, and the shortage of Apple’s newest handset could last up to a month. Those who did not get them during the launch day is pretty much out of luck whether they plan to purchase one that month. While Apple is trying very hard to boost the iPhone 3G availability, it will still take sometime for the supplier to get it by to the store chain.

While the shortage continues, it does not mean all

Apple’s retail stores are out of stock; according to a Macworld’s article, 27 percent of Apple’s store shows the iPhone 3Gs are in stock.

The black 16GB iPhone is the lowest in availability on those stores, however the 8GB iPhone 3G is starting to vanish from the shelf too. worldly sales seems to be taking away a big chunk of iPhone 3G stock, unlike last year when only US hogging the stocks.
