iPhone has no voice-free plan for deaf

AT&T has decided to do away with its $27.99 monthly no-voice plan, claiming that the offer was generated in error. While AT&T has a fair number of data-only plans for the deaf community, that service won’t be extended to the iPhone plan. I suppose that has something to do with AT&T trying to produce as much profit as possible, since they still need to pay Apple a positive

amount of dough on each iPhone regardless of what plan the user picks up. How is the hearing impaired community taking that bit of news? Will they do something about the situation so that corporate bigwigs get the view that it always pays to treat their customers right?
