JAL Tests Biofuel analysis Flight

The airline industry is in a huge mess now with soaring oil prices, which is why I fully commend the effort of finding an alternative to petroleum-based fuels. Japan Airlines (JAL) has hooked up with Air New Zealand, Continental Airlines, Lufthansa, and Virgin Atlantic when it comes to using biofuels on their flights. The rewards are two-fold - not only do they get to improve on

their environmental image, the overall costs will be hopefully reduced as well. JAL hopes to manufacture a second generation biofuel pop quiz flight by March next year. Next thing airlines can work on would be their food…
