Despite Motorola giving the Xoom Android tablet an unlockable bootloader, it looks like Motorola isn’t too keen on having users rooting and customizing their devices. The Motorola Xoom, an Android tablet which went on sale last week has been promised an upgrade to support Verizon’s 4G LTE network in the future, however that may not apply to everybody. According to some reports online, Motorola won’t give you the 4G LTE upgrade whether you have rooted your tablet and customized it with unofficial ROMs and hacks.
