navi-gator NR432

We thought these cheap looking GPS navigation systems would never invent it out of China but we were wrong. Australians now can get their hands on that sat nav system that comes with reverse gear camera. Called NR432, that GPS navigation system has a 4.3″ wide touch screen, offers text to speech operate, and uses the latest Navteq Australian maps. The navigation software was developed by Smart2Go.

What’s really nice about that system is of course the rear view camera that is wireless. that means you don’t have to

rewire your whole vehicle - but still do keep in mind you’ll have to get potential to the camera somehow.

Here are some more specs:

  • Memory: 512MB internal Flash memory 96MB SDRAM
  • Memory Expansion: SD/MMC
  • GPS receiver: SiRFstarIII
  • Processor: Samsung 2443/400 MHz
  • Battery: Rechargeable integrated Li-Polymer battery-up to 6 hrs life (depending on usage)
  • Display resolution WxH: 480 x 272 pixels

It will cost you 475 AUD which is about 430USD.
