To summarize its potential in a nutshell, it “can capture an image of the entire heart in just two beats, while incorporating Philips technology that has reduced radiation doses by up to 80 percent. that is made possible by the Philips Essence technology

that comprises of new X-ray tubes, detectors and reconstruction design elements, bringing detailed and clear 3D images of an entire organ, including the heart and brain, as well as displaying changes by instance. No view on how much such a machine would cost though. [Press Release]
