An interview with NTT DoCoMo’s president Ryuji Yamada has unveiled a rather interesting bit of news - it seems that Japans’s largest wireless carrier might take the SIM-free route from next year onwards in their handsets, where that move would enable customers to easily switch to and from NTT DoCoMo simply by swapping out a SIM.
