Overhead projector turned into a musical instrument

Who would have thought that an overhead projector, being a primarily visual piece of equipment, is capable of being modified into a musical instrument of all things? That’s what Blair Neal from New York is capable of, cobbling that hack that relies on a camera as well as a laptop that will turn the blushing overhead projector into a neat music-making machine. You draw out notes on standard issue transparency

sheets, where different colors denote various octaves. Interesting, to say the least, but playing tunes on that doesn’t give you the flexibility of a real, committed musical instrument.
