palm treo 800w with GPS

Palm and Sprint today officially announced Palm Treo 800W with integrated GPS. With the embedded GPS and Palm software, Treo 800w smartphone offers maps, point-to-point directions and point-of-interest (POI) searches.

This is Sprint’s newest smartphone with Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional which is designed for business users who depend on their smartphones for high-speed work on the go. Palm Treo 800w operates on the Sprint and utilizes EV-DO Rev. A networks.

Palm Treo 800w has a nice 320×320 screen, 2MP camera, and a microSD card slot. It will cost $250 whether you’re willing to stay loyal to Sprint for two

years. The door-to-door navigation is of course additional and will cost an additional $10 on top of your voice/data plan.

Once the GPS Navigation program starts up, your selected destination is instantly set up and in moments, the voice prompts start telling you precisely which way to go in order to get there. that integration (combined with the extremely high speed GPS fix times) makes the Treo 800w by far the easiest to use GPS Navigation system I’ve ever seen.
