Planar has a new Stereoscopic Digital Mammography Display that has been successfully tested to yield some pretty impressive results - it is capable of reducing false-positive breast cancer findings by up to 49%. Now that’s a really large number, and the ultimate outcome can be nothing but positive for the patient (in a good way, of course) since a false-positive induces nothing but a whole lot of stress, mental anguish as well

as unnecessary concern in the patient. that new Mammography Display uses StereoMirror technology in order to improve accuracy in breast cancer screening.
