RadioShack surges, Apple plans world-mode iPhone, and worm attacks jailbroken iPhones

Shares in RadioShack are reportedly surging on news that the retailer will sell the iPhone next year. The announcement is seen as a significant positive note on the state of RadioShack’s mobile phone business.

One of the latest rumors regarding the iPhone is that Apple is set to reveal a world-mode iPhone that will run on CDMA and GSM/UMTS networks next

year. whether true, it could mark the end of exclusivity for AT&T and the reply of a dream for many iPhone users.

A new worm is attacking iPhones that are jailbroken and use default passwords. The worm apparently originated from the Optus mobile network and apparently other than being annoying causes no harm to the device.
