Samsung To start Producing 3m Of The 13m iPad Screens Ordered

Reports indicate that Samsung will start producing iPad screens, a good 3 million of them in fact. The Korean company has managed to get a contract with Apple apparently worth $240 million to supply said number of displays for the iPad. The display of the iPad is one of its most expensive parts, costing $80 for all models. LG already has a large multi-year display deal with Apple, and the company is already busy coming up with

10 million iPad displays for the fruity company, putting the total number of displays ordered by Apple at 13 million, which is a wholesome number of iPads, wouldn’t you say?
