Smart Video Goggle System

Researchers from the University of Tokyo have successfully developed a smart video goggle system which is capable of recording just about everything the wearer looks at, assigning names to objects in the video in order to create a searchable database of the recorded footage. Meant to be used as a high-tech memory aid, these “Cyber Goggles”, as they’re known, could eventually eliminate those awkward moments when you ask yourself, “Where did I place those house keys of mine?”. A computer worn on

the user’s back will record whatever footage that comes through the attached compact camera, using an ultrahigh-speed image recognition processing software to analyze, name and file the objects that seem in the video. Relevant keywords will be added for a smarter search later. Hopefully the missus won’t review my day’s recording at the beach, where bikinis were the order of the day.
