Solidmicro SD-HK800 pico projector

Solidmicro jumps aboard the pico projector bandwagon with their SD-HK800, a device that actually runs on the Windows CE 5.0 platform. that is different from what we’re used to, as other pico projectors that caught our attention normally come with their own operating system and user interface. that LCOS pico projector will be equipped with 2GB of internal storage, a microSD memory card slot for memory expansion objectives, native support of PowerPoint, Excel, Word and PDF files, not to mention the ability to handle video file formats such as MPEG, AVI, MP4, WMV, and VOB alongside MP3,

WMA, OGG, APE and FLAC for audio. We’re disappointed with the VGA resolution (640 × 480) that it offers, and would have liked to see XGA resolution supported instead considering VGA is so yesteryear. Pico projectors haven’t really found a market where it can fluorish just yet, so developments that aren’t exponentially incremental for it isn’t a surprise.
