Spectec microSD WiFi Card

Spectec’s SDW-823, tipped to be the first microSD WiFi card in the world is still in limbo apparently as it has not yet been released despite being announced for sale originally last August, with word that it will ship that year. Apparently, Spectec is currently going through “marketing strategy and some technical issues” which is causing all these hiccups. Word has it that

Spectec will be launching the device that July after submitting it for regulatory approval a month prior. The CDMA version of the HTC Touch is a prime candidate for that card since it lacks WiFi connectivity but has a microSD memory card slot.
