Twitter shows similar mood patterns present worldwide
Some researchers recently published the findings of a very interesting study: how the moods of citizens change all through the day. According to their study of around 2.4 million users, public usually start the day full of optimism, gradually get more negative though the day, and recover at around 6.30PM. Moods are at their highest points during the weekend.
The researchers did that by looking into keywords that were being used in tweets – words that were happy and enthusiastic contributed to being positive, while sad and anxious keywords contributed to the negative score. While not
