Xbox 360 HD DVD emulator from MS

Microsoft has just made known its new software that claims to “streamline development / analyzing for HD DVD content” as well as “accelerate the advancement” of next-generation interactivity. In layman’s terms, that means the Xbox 360 HD DVD Emulator enables studios to “model the behavior of HD DVD disc composition, including encoded video and HDi interactivity, in a virtual environment.”

When fully utilizes, companies will be able to reduce the amount of day wasted but will first have to pony up $2,999 in addition to owning an Xbox 360, a HD DVD peripheral and a connection to Xbox Live.
