Zonbu announces new notebook

Zonbu has a new notebook and service available, whereby the former will be manufactured by Everex while the latter requires a $14.95 monthly subscription fee. Based on the same operating system as the Zonbu Mini, that new Zonbu laptop will come with 20 best-of-breed software applications, free and motorized software upgrades, online storage, file remote access and sharing, motorized notes backup, unlimited online tech support and free hardware replacement in the event

of damage. The Zonbu laptop will be made available to everyone early next year, and it retails for $279 each. It definitely isn’t as capability packed as the Asus Eee PC, but it is an alternative to consider whether you’re into some lightweight portable computing (in terms of actual weight as well as computing power).
